dalai lama on international women's day
I read a quote recently by the wonderful Dalai Lama and it lit up my heart. The quote was: "The world will be saved by the Western Woman".
I don't know about you but I've been feeling a real shift in energy these last couple of years and witnessing feminine energy begin to light up and shine. And it's a beautiful thing to witness.
The world as we knew it, managed by logical, structured, agressive and domineering masculine energy is coming to an end as women and the feminine energy of co-operation, support, intuitiveness and connectivity begins to flourish.
And I invite you to be part of and celebrate this beautiful change. Because women are rising. Women are connecting. Women are shining their light.
As each woman shines, we return and restore our connection with Mother Gaia, Mother Earth. And we acknowledge that we share this beautiful planet with fellow humans and non-humans alike. And both should be cherished, cared for and deeply respected.
To bring harmony to this beautiful planet we need to bring love and live in love, for our planet, for each other, and for our fellow non-humans.
And, so, we are being called, each and every one of us, to shine our light. By shining our light brightly we inspire others to shine their light too. And together we can make a true difference.
I believe the future of our planet is not the doom and gloom that the media is trying to convince us about. I believe we can turn the destruction we are seeing being created on and in our planet, around... by shining our light and bringing to the forefront a strong, yet caring and inclusive feminine energy. But only if we shine our light and step out of the shadow.
But how do you shine your light?
It feels like such a responsibility to bare, right?
But it doesn't have to be.
You don't need to strive to become the next leader of the modern world. You don't need to stand in front of 1000's and motivate them to march forward in their truth.
That's what's so unique and powerful about the feminine light.
To inspire others you just need to shine at being you and living a positive life that considers those around you and the life around you. To shine your brightest is to follow and do what you love, what 'lights you up', what makes you happy.
For me, this translates into inspiring women to fall back in love with themselves and practise self-love daily because when you love yourself first, only then can you truly love anyone else. When you love yourself, your light will sparkle and light up a room and inspire others.
For me, this also translates into finding a voice for the voiceless, for speaking up for the non-humans that share this planet with us.
For me, this also translates into inviting women to tune into their intuition and trust the guidance of an invisible power greater than any of us.
What does shining your light mean to you?
