take back your power!

As I start my interprestation of this card, I have very mixed feelings about the message from Archangel Raziel today: "Take back your power!"

Why?

Well I find the message both compelling, exciting, and scary all at the same time. But before we go into all that, let me first introduce you to Archangel Raziel.

AA Raziel's name means "Secrets of God". On this card he is depicted as an angel with age, an angel who's been 'round the block' quite a few times, a wise sage. He's often seen as the angelic equivalent of a yoga guru, an angel who has invested time and energy studying, understanding and practising all the laws of the Universe until he is now a master of them, a guru in them. He has mastered the secrets of spiritual growth and the laws of the Universe and is now on hand to share and pass on his knowledge and wisdom to us when we ask his help. He loves revealing the Universe's mysteries to us when we invite him to.

Apart from the maturity depicted on this angel's face, what stands out to me is the strength and gentleness of this card. It's a beautiful blend of power and love, of energy and lightness. And that says to me that manifesting blessings into your life doesn't have to be something you have to force. Rather it's a natural power and strength that lies in each of us, something that, often, we only need to re-awaken.

The other symbol on the card that stands out is the rainbow. I love rainbows. I have found that rainbows represent blessings; when I see then I know that everything's going to be okay. They also are a comfort to me knowing that the angels are with me when life is testing and difficult. The rainbow on the card not only represents the rainbow of colours in AA Raziel's aura but also reminds us that blessings are all around us, we only need to open our eyes to see them and open our hearts to receive them.

The message on the card states "Use your God-given power and intention to manifest blessings in your life."

We all have the ability to manifest exactly what we want in life; there's a saying "where attention goes, energy flows". However many of us are focusing on the wrong things. We focus on what we don't want or don't wish to attract and by giving energy to that, that's exactly what we do attract.

When we focus on what we do want for the best of our higher self,  and to benefit those we wish to help and serve, then our energy and vibration will rise and begin to attract those very things into our lives.

Manifesting is nothing new to us. It's something we've been doing all our lives, it's a part of our very being. But as we become adults, often manifesting doesn't seem so easy and natural; our thinking mind creates too many moving parts, too many complications and implications. So we often talk about things that are happening to us as if we have had no part to play in attracting them or, even, creating them in our lives. And by doing so, we are giving away our power and our control.

And this is where this card becomes a little scary. AA Raziel is gently demanding us to "Take back your power!". As I've just mentioned we have the power, the ability, to manifest the life of our dreams, within us. We just need to take 100% responsibility for our life and everything that is happening inside it. Even those events that we simply cannot control or which we could never have manifested, such as an earthquake or volcanic eruption, we need to look inward and see how we react to such events. It's our reactions, our behaviour, our attitude that we can control when we're faced with (the few) events that we simply cannot control.

I read a book a number of years ago called "The Dynamic Laws of Prosperity" by Catherine Ponder and there was one thing she wrote in her book that has always stuck with me. A very simple lesson. She said something along the lines of "even the little birds in the trees are provided with food every day". The Universe/Source/God/The Divine, whichever title you choose to use, provides every day for even the smallest of animals so why should he/she/it not provide for us?

Here's the thing, the Universe is providing for us every single day. The problem is we're getting in the way; we're blocking those blessings coming to us because of our questioning, egocentric and fear-filled mind. But what if we opened our mind, what if we re-awakened the knowledge deep within us that life is working for us, not against us; it's happening for us, not to us? What if we took back our power?

Doesn't that idea get you excited?

You should be excited!

Every morning we should waken up and wonder what blessings will come our way that day and open our heart to gratefully receive them.

Every morning we should set the intention to manifest even more into our lives and to live our best ever life because, in doing so, we can positively impact those around us, we'll have the ability to help those we wish to help and serve... we can live a truly fulfilled life.

So whilst I initially found this card is a little bit scary because it's challenging my beliefs that I can truly manifest the life of my dreams, I can truly live a complete life where I can heal both humans and non-humans, where I can have abundance that I can use to help others, where I can inspire those around me, I now find this card exciting and compelling. By challenging my thinking around manifesting, this card gets me truly passionate. It spurs me on. As I truly hope it does, you. Because if we call on AA Raziel to guide us and support us in manifesting our dream life, can you imagine how much of a positive impact we can, individually and collectively, have on this world?

Take back your power, lovely soul.
